Ukrainian SaaS companies have raised $550 million in investments

UNIT.City jointly with SaaS Nation and Center24 conducted a study of the Ukrainian SaaS market. They shared their findings with AIN.UA.

  • There are more than 120 SaaS companies based in Ukraine or established by local teams. They employ about 4,000 people. Half of these companies are small enterprises with less than 30 employees.
  • Over the history of their existence, Ukrainian SaaS companies raised $550 million. Half of that amount comes from Gitlab and Grammarly rounds. 22.7% of companies didn’t raise any investments.
  • More than half of these companies are located in Kyiv. Other popular locations include Odesa, Dnipro, and Kharkiv.
  • Almost all companies (93%) are b2b or b2b/b2c.
