President of StrategEast Anatoly Motkin delivered a speech on “Integration of Eurasian countries into the global economy through the development of the IT industry” at the Digital Bridge Forum in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
In his speech, Mr. Motkin told about the economic and social benefits that the countries of Eurasia receive from the priority development of the knowledge-based economy, and shared StrategEast’s experience in the development of the IT industry in Eurasia within the framework of the Center’s flagship Global Minds Initiative.
Kazakh capital Nur-Sultan was hosting Digital Bridge Forum on October 28-29 to promote digitization in the country and provide businesses and startups with more access to resources. Nearly 4,000 participants attended the event.
The Forum speakers included Bagdat Mussin, Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Bayan Konirbayev, Head of Almaty city Department of Digitalization; Erlan Karin Aide to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; and leaders of major Kazakh and international IT companies.
