Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic opened the StrategEast State and IT Eurasian Forum.
In his welcome speech, Mr. Japarov highlighted the transformative potential of digital technology for Kyrgyzstan.
“The Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic was created in 2021 in line with the global digitalization trends. Realizing the importance of shaping the IT image of our country in the global and domestic markets, the ministry was instructed to hold a number of bilateral meetings at this Forum, talk about the potential, achievements and discuss the prospects for bilateral partnership. We have high expectations from the solutions developed within the framework of this Forum, which we can quickly implement to achieve positive results of digitalization in our country,” said Mr. Japarov.
“We clearly understand that it is quite difficult for each individual country to compete in the international digital field. Therefore, we have already begun to implement the regional aspect of digital transformation; and the Central Asian region has a number of advantages,” highlighted Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
