Anatoly Motkin presented the achievments and prospects for IT industry in Georgia at the America-Georgia Business Council Annual Conference

Anatoly Motkin, President of StrategEast, spoke at the session “Digitalization of the Post-Pandemic Economy in Georgia and Wider Region” at the Post Pandemic Economic Strategy for Georgia conference, hosted by the America-Georgia Business Council.

Mr Motkin has shared his experience on how to develop a thriving IT industry in Georgia, fully integrated into the global economy creating tens of thousands of new jobs for Georgians with a salary 3-4 times higher than the average in the country and focused on the export of high-tech products. Anatoly presented the StrategEast systemic approach to setting up all the necessary components for developing the thriving IT sector in a country scale implemented successfully in Georgia.

The session was moderated by Mamuka Tsereteli, President of America-Georgia Business Council, and the other speakers were Archil Mestvirishvili, Vice Governor of National Bank of Georgia; Nino Peranidze, Senior Analyst at Galt & Taggart; Kakha Gelashvili, Co-Founder of Payze; Colin Donohue, Director of Startup Grind Tbilisi.
